Photography for advertising, for annual reports, for editorial purposes – it interests me in that they are all attempts to communicate, to help a client communicate their message clearly and accurately. I think that is what I find most challenging – and most rewarding in meeting those goals when we are successful. I have been working professionally for over 25 years as a photographer, designer and art director. Quite often I am asked by my clients to wear many hats on a particular project, something I enjoy very much. My work often takes me around the world and into obscure regions of th U.S. I think one of my biggest strengths is reliability –when I am hired to complete a project, it WILL get done right, on time and within budget. I was born in 1957 on the island of Madagascar. I have lived in Fargo for 34 years (really!), believing that it's a nice place to live if you can afford to get away. I exhibit my fine art work whenever possible, but get most satisfaction working for and pleasing a client. I've shot documentary work for an arctic ski expedition, shot on locations across all of Europe. I live happily with my wife and two children in Fargo, quite often venturing off around the country and the world quite often. (For what it's worth, that's our son in the photo above.) |
